Here at Sidmouth we have a school council. Representatives are elected at the beginning of each academic year names are displayed in the Key Stage 2 hall.

Our School Council is made up of 10 children across the school. These children are elected to be representatives for their classmates.

In the coming year they will be making many key decisions. Pupils are able to put forward a suggestion, simply post a note in the newly introduced suggestion box in the school hall.

JAMS (Just Ask Me) – Representatives

Jams are appointed at the beginning of each academic year and the names are displayed in the Key Stage 2 hall.

Our JAMs provide valuable extra ears and eyes for the staff on duty during playtimes, to ensure that all children are playing happily and safely. The JAMs are the only ones allowed to wear red hats and only when they are on duty, so that they are easy to spot on the playground for any child who needs help.
