We do everything possible to keep your child safe.
In the interests of safety all visitors are requested to sign in and out at the main office and to collect and wear a visitors badge whilst in school.

All external school doors have a one way locking device on and once closed can be opened from the inside but only with an appropriate key from the outside. School gates are kept locked during school session time (only open for dropping off or collecting children). Visitors to the school outside normal school hours (dropping off/collecting) should use the Tavistock Street entrance where access can be gained via intercom to the main office.

From a safety point of view, jewellery is not encouraged in school, nor are toys or valuable items. The school cannot be held responsible for any personal or valuable items lost in school. All items should be named.

Mobile phones should not be brought to school. Please contact Mrs Brady if you believe that there is a special reason for your child having a mobile phone in school on a certain day.

Dogs are not allowed on school premises at any time including during school events or functions.
Please note that, in line with national policy, Sidmouth Primary School is a non-smoking area.
