Sidmouth Primary has managed to secure more free tickets to take the children to the cinema, as part of the National Festival of Film. There is a cost incurred to the school for the bus, but we are just asking for a donation of £1 per child. This cost is subsidised by the school.

Different year groups are going to see different films on different days and times:
Years 1 and 4 are going on October 13th at 9.15am to see Rio (The Odeon, Kingston Retail Park)
Years 2 and 5 are going on October 14th at 9.15am to see The Smurfs (Cineworld, Kingswood Retail Park)
Years 3 and 6 are going on October 17th at 9.15am to see Cars2 (Cineworld, Kingswood Retail Park)

Every year group should be back in time for lunch, however unforeseen circumstances can prevent things running according to plan! We therefore are asking that every child has a packed lunch on their cinema day and then there is no chance of children missing lunch. If your child is receiving Free School Meals then you entitled to ask for a school packed lunch. The lunches will be eaten on the return to school, not at the venue.

All children are expected to wear full school uniform for the visit and they will need a waterproof coat as they will be walking to and from the coach. They will not have any opportunity to spend and money, therefore spending money will not be needed.

Parents/Careers need to complete and return the slip, giving consent for their child to attend. Any child with an unreturned slip will not be able to attend the visit.
