This term, music at Sidmouth has been action packed!
Congratulations to Tia from Year 6 who has passed Grade 3 Cornet with Merit and to Charlotte from Year 5 who has passed grade 1 Baritone with a distinction! Well done girls!
All our other instrumentalists are making great progress and looking forward to making to fabulous music! Keep Practicing!

All year groups from F1 to Year 6 have been singing as part of their class assembly. The children were very brave to sing in front of the rest of the school and had worked extremely hard to learn all their words.

On 17th June, KS2 made their annual trip to the City Hall to take part in Singing Day. All the children sang their hearts out and made a great impression to the visiting schools. They sang a wonderful selection of songs including Michael Finigan, Rollar Ghoster and Jack and the Beanstalk!

Finally, as part of the 100 Year Celebration, KS2 performed a Music Hall which was a great success. The children worked incredibly hard to learn so many songs and to perform them to such a high standard in each of the three performances!

Well done everyone, keep singing over the holidays!
