On Thursday, 23rd April Year 6 children went to Beverley Race course to help them practice Maths in a real-life situation. The children measured the perimeter of the parade ring, lengths of horses and calculated weights using imperial measurements. They went behind the scenes to find out about lift of a jockey. It was a fascinating day!
